At a power plant along a major river in Indiana, silting up of an outfall was creating major operational challenges and potential reliability issues for the plant operations. The Sewer Hog system along with the grey water solution was employed to removed a heavy clay and debris encrusted material that had blocked approximately 50% of the capacity of the 1100 foot outfall. Temperatures had effectively baked the material into a semi solid mass that only the Sewer Hog system could break through and remove.
